Kitchen Porter / Dishwasher

At The Seafood Bar, quality is everything and you play a key role in that. As a dishwasher, you ensure the kitchen keeps running smoothly. This is physically demanding work: you need to be able to lift heavy items and stand and walk for long periods in a fast-paced environment.

Our restaurants are often fully booked and operate at a high tempo. That's why we're looking for someone who can perform well under pressure, is physically strong, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves. This job requires perseverance and physical fitness, it's not for everyone. But if you enjoy a challenge and like working in a team where hard work and laughter go hand in hand, you’ll fit right in!

What we offer:

• Salary: of €16.87 gross per hour, this is including 8% holiday allowance.
• Tips: An average €700 in cash per month (full-time basis)
• Travel allowance: up to €250 per month if you live outside of Amsterdam. 
• Flexible contract: with the possibility of fixed hours in the near future.

What will you do?
In the dishwashing area, you’re indispensable. You and your colleagues make sure the restaurant always has clean equipment. This not only helps provide a great experience for our guests but also gives your colleagues the space to do their job even better. You’ll be part of an energetic team that strives for the best service and the most beautiful and clean restaurant and dishes every day.

Who are you?

• You’re flexible and available for evening and weekend shifts (sometimes until 1:30 AM).
• You live in Amsterdam or the surrounding area.
• You’re available for 8 - 40 hours per week (on a zero-hour contract).
• You speak Dutch or English.
• You have the physical fitness to lift heavy objects and take many steps in a day.
