Job requirements

What will you be doing?

As Head Chef, you and your team will be responsible for delivering the ultimate dining experience to our guests. You ensure that your colleagues consistently achieve the high quality we, and you, strive for. To accomplish this, you will oversee the kitchen operation, manage and coach the team, maintain kitchen equipment, and monitor the quality of ingredients. You understand that teamwork is key to achieving the best results, and your excellent communication skills contribute positively. Beyond the kitchen, you will manage costs, create schedules, and promote training and development for your kitchen team.

Who are you?

  • You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a kitchen management position.

  • You are available for 40 hours per week.

  • You are willing to work weekdays and weekends.

  • You can speak and write in Dutch or English.

  • You are familiar with hygiene and food safety regulations (HACCP).

  • You have a passion for seafood and knowledge of it.

  • You are a stress-resistant team player.

  • You possess strong communication skills.

  • You reside in Amsterdam or the surrounding area.
