What will you be doing?

As an Assistant Manager, you will share responsibility for leading a team of 20 to 30 colleagues. Alongside the management team, you will serve as a point of contact for our colleagues. Guests will also need your help, making you a host or hostess. Also, you can support the General Manager by overseeing the daily operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, and helping achieve financial targets. Your role will involve team training and development, staff satisfaction, scheduling, and procurement. In summary, as an Assistant Manager, you play a pivotal role.

Who are you?

• You have at least 2 years of relevant leadership experience in the hospitality industry.
• Knowledge of seafood and wine is a plus.
• Available for 32 to 40 hours per week.
• Flexibility for evening and weekend shifts.
• Reside in Amsterdam or the surrounding area.
• Proficient in both spoken and written Dutch and English.
• Presentable appearance.
• Strong communication skills and a team player.
• Detail-oriented and able to handle stressful situations effectively.
