As Head Chef at The Seafood Bar, you lead an enthusiastic team and create culinary masterpieces. Growth and development are central in an inspiring work environment.
As Head Chef of the production kitchen, you are responsible for the daily management of everything going to 5 Seafood Bar restaurants and House of Noa (Japanese cuisine). You ensure that everything is ready before service, every single day. You translate the needs of different locations into an efficient and well-organized workflow.
You work day shifts (Monday to Saturday) from approximately 07:00 / 08:00 to 15:00. You lead a team of around 4–6 employees and are responsible for clear planning, consistent quality, and a streamlined workflow. You monitor processes, costs, and timing, ensuring that daily output matches the demand from the restaurants.
You work closely with the Head Chefs at each location, aligning volumes and priorities. You also keep visibility on what happens on the floor and adjust where necessary. Additionally, you visit locations from time to time to identify improvements.

What we offer with a full-time job:
Salary: Between €3000 and €4000 per month
Tips: Yearly bonus based on KPI’s
Travel allowance: From 10km up to €275 per month
Holiday pay: 8%
Vacation days: 26 per year

Setting up the production kitchen in collaboration with owners and the Executive Chef
Organizing and managing daily production
Creating schedules and planning
Ensuring quality, hygiene, and HACCP processes
Coordinating production and deliveries per location
Managing food cost, waste, and efficiency
Optimizing processes and workflows
You will also occasionally be present on location to stay connected with operations and continuously improve.
In short: you are responsible for an efficient, predictable, and high-quality production kitchen that supports multiple restaurants.
Who are you?
You have at least 5 years of experience in a kitchen management position.
You’re available to work 40 hours a week.
You’re willing to work both weekdays and weekends.
You speak and write Dutch or English.
You’re familiar with hygiene and food safety regulations (HACCP).
You have a passion for seafood and knowledge of this product.
You’re stress-resistant and a team player.
You have strong communication skills.
You live in Amsterdam or the surrounding area.
