At Zum Barbarossa, we’re looking for a bartender (18+) to join our speakeasy-style restaurant and cocktail bar — a hidden gem in the heart of Amsterdam.

What we offer:

• Hourly wage: €16.87 per hour (including holiday allowance and holidays)

• Tips: On average, €700 in cash per month (based on fulltime hours)

• Travel allowance: Starting from 10 km, up to a maximum of €250 per month

• Pension plan for your future

• Holiday allowance: 8% of your annual salary

• Vacation days: 26 per year

What will you be doing?
As a creative cocktail artist, you thrive on crafting new, exciting drinks. But you also nail the classics, from a perfect Moscow Mule to a flawless Pornstar or Espresso Martini. In this all-round role, you’re not afraid to step out from behind the bar—taking orders, greeting guests, and serving drinks and bites with a smile. You’ll consistently wow our guests with exceptional cocktails and warm hospitality, playing a key part in our success as you grow alongside us. If this sounds like you, Zum Barbarossa is the perfect place to shine! Hidden in the basement of our Seafood Bar Spui restaurant, this speakeasy bar offers the freedom to innovate and create. 

Who are you?

• You have experience as a bartender/cocktail shaker.

• You're available for a minimum of 2 days per week.

• You're flexible and available for (late) evening and weekend shifts.

• You live in Amsterdam or the surrounding area.

• You speak English, Dutch is useful but not required.
